The Twirling Ballerina
Once a upon a time there was young little girl named Lilly she was very unique and different person from other little girls at her age she had tiny brain injured problem in the back of her head and the only thing she had only made her happy was her ballet not her dolls or any little girls things that they would do on their free time. When she mad, sad, or even happy she would go in her grandmother old dance studio and will practice on her turns every time. Every time her grandmother sees her practicing her turns and will fail at them she would smiled and say to herself saying "My twirling little ballerina she would make it to success". Sometimes when she in her ballet lesson with the class practicing on her turns people will say that she is a puppet that only practice on turns nothing else.
When her mother is off from work or came out early from her work Lilly would be in the studio with her grandmother, because no one would babysit Lilly the reason why no one could babysit and its only her grandmother was because her father died from Leukemia, cancer and there is no one close in Lilly area and its only her grandmother. About her Lilly Father before he had died he gave Lilly a little necklace that has a little ballerina and he said to her "Turn and be happy what for what you love and promise me to be big and reach for your dream" when he was in hospital bed a long time ago and so this is the reason why Lilly practice her turns although she is getting better she still practice to bigger and better. As I was saying every time her mom comes straight to the studio to see if she getting better or not and sometimes if she has a competition she would come and see and her mother will sometimes say to herself saying "Graceful Lilly will always dance her heart out softly" as she always smiled and if her mother couldn't make it her grandmother would be their and will cheer her on.
Back to the story May 6,2008 that day it was Lilly competition and was the day when her Father died she always have a competition on that day and she will always say to herself saying "Daddy this is for you first place here we come". As Lilly was finish prepping herself she went to the bathroom and the bathroom long pink colored mirror that was by the side of the door she sat on clean floor and cross her legs and her hands were folded and was shaking and her face was down to the ground and said to herself " Daddy I need you right now I just want to be happy and dance my way into a different universe with you and me you proud and..." as the door was open fast and interrupted Lilly and Lilly stood up quickly scared there was a bunch of little girls the same age as her but their was one little girl had a solo just like Lilly since she was always competitive to see if who would have first place and second place but Lilly would win first place every time on this day. As I was saying this little girl named Savannah she was bully to Lilly she even knew about her brain injure and didn't care if she was sick but as Lilly was their scared Savannah was having a grin on her face and said "Well well isn't it little Mrs. Perfect where your daddy..." as Savannah was pointing at Lilly and Lilly didn't replied to Savannah question and Savannah said "Oh wait he's not here and how about that brain damage" as she was laughing at Lilly and push to the ground and Lilly did not do anything because she knew what was right thing to do not fight because it would get worst through life her dad said to her before he found out about his Leukemia. Lilly slowly stood up and Savannah said "Look girls the little turning princess has awaken" as the girls behind her laugh then Lilly didn't cry and ran out the bathroom. Lilly was patiently waiting to hear the solo division to get ready and be by the stairs to perform and after a couple minutes they called all the solo division and Savannah was in front of Lilly and Savannah gave a dirty look at Lilly and laugh when she was just called to get up on the stage and performer. Two minutes had past Savannah hard part was coming up and did a huge lead and twirled but as she landed it wrong and she felled and Savannah was surprise and finish her performance. Next up was Lilly and after Three minutes had past by now it was Lilly hard part she had to do a huge leap and land the twirl three times and be done with her performance and she did make it then Savannah was very mad she was by the stairs and Lilly was coming down the stair and pushed Savannah and whispered in her ear and said "What you have to say something about my dad.. oh that what I thought so" as she running into her mother arm and hugged her.
After all the soloist and group division was done performing everyone was about to go on stage for the award ceremony but as Lilly was behind Savannah going up a random reporter for dancing the light had only came for Lilly not anyone else to take a quick picture for the front magazine and Lilly agreed and she left the line going to a place with a black curtain and Savannah was so jealous as everyone was waiting for Lilly to start the award Ceremony.
After a couple minutes Lilly returned and they started the Award Ceremony the first award division was the group and her group division won first place and the song was called for the Ballet Competition was Hallow Sound by Alice Nan and after that it was finally the Soloist award as they were calling the low place Savannah and Lilly was looking at each other divisively and mad after they was done with the person who had made it into the third place the lady was announcing who was gonna be first place and second place then everyone was silence and after three minutes pass by the second place was... Savannah and Savannah was mad and took the trophy and sat and the lady was loud and called out Lilly name for the first place winner as she done taking a photo she was going back to her seat Lilly was wobbling she felled straight down to her head and some random girl heard a little crack like it was a sound of a bone but in the back of Lilly head then Lilly mother scream into tears and ran to the stage and climbed on top of the stage and held Lilly in her arms and yelled "Someone call 911 immediately" then someone called 911 and Lilly was lucky because they were around the town where Lilly was doing her Ballet Competition and so they quickly rushed her into the hospital and quickly did a surgery , but it was already to late and Lilly died and Lilly was in her hospital bed and her mother and grandmother was their and her mother and grandmother was both sitting in chair and her mother holding her hand she speak to Lilly and said "Well I knew some day this will happen but not now... tell daddy I love him and I will see him when I die elder age" as cried and she turn to her mother and placed her hand on her mother face and said "Mom I can't lose two already now its my husband and daughter" as she cried into her mother arm and Lilly grandmother comforting Lilly mother. After one day everyone had heard about Lilly death and even Savannah felt bad for what she had said or even done to Lilly and after two months they had the funeral and on Lilly stone it said "Dance is my passion and I promise Daddy I will get first place for him and look at us now he's proud of me" and Savannah read and had finally got an answer on why she always push herself and get first place. After two years had past by Lilly grandmother died because of elderly age and Lilly mother now alone and after one month had past by she hung up Lilly dance clothe and shoe that she was wearing on the day she made first place to remind her about grandmother that she always be in the studio and her husband he wanted to see his daughter be in first place and Lilly that dance is her passion. Every year on May 6 she would say a little prayer and end it with saying "Thank you my twirling ballerina".
